1976 - Chipmunk WB697 overshoots Filton runway

This Chipmunk (part of the university air squadron, then based at Filton, later to move to Hullavington) overshot the runway and ended up in a ditch, clearly visible from my parents' house and a short walk across the fields. I must have been home from Poly at the time. These pictures were almost certainly taken in 1976 (if not, 1975). WB697 is now privately owned, based in Lincoln and registered as G-BXCT.
